Would the workshop give a taster for the Launch Pad? Is there much overlap?
The workshop is a good precursor to the Launch Pad. They are also very different from each other.
The workshop helps you get clear on the key career ingredients you want in your next career, along with enabling you to learn the action steps you need to take to move forward. It's a great starting point, and many attendees get a lot of value from meeting others in the same boat.
The Launch Pad uses a different set of exercises and activities to help you a) get clear on your 3-5 career themes and b) start testing ideas to assess their viability. It's different from the workshop in that it’s based around you taking action in the real world, supported by a team of coaches, mentors and peers. It's also delivered over 8 weeks with weekly group calls, rather than a one-off call in a workshop format.
The workshop can lead on well into the Launch Pad, however you don't need to have attended a workshop to get the most out of the Launch Pad.
Finally, in terms of a 'taster', I'd say the workshop would be a great introduction to our work -- and one which will leave you clearer and more confident about next steps.
